Series Description

The Lucy Show was a 30 minute comedy series on CBS about Lucy Carmichael (a recent widow) and Vivian Bagley (a recent divorcee) who decided to move in together with their children and share living expenses. Lucille Ball showed more of her comic genius in this TV show as her comic mishaps complicated the lives of Vivian, the children, and her boss Mr. Mooney!

Having barely held their marriage together through the end of the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, The Lucy Show became Lucille Ball's venue for continuing her TV sitcom career without her husband, Desi Arnaz.
