Then "Law & Order: SVU" in 1999, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" in 2001, "Law & Order: Trial by Jury" in 2005, "Law & Order: LA" in 2010, "Law & Order True Crime" in 2017 and "Law & Order: Organized Crime" in 2021.

Series Description

The Law and Order TV show is a 60 minute legal drama series on NBC. The introduction to each episode says it all. "In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police who investigate crime, and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders. Law and Order Trivia

When the last episode of Law and Order aired it became the longest lasting crime drama series on U.S. primetime television! It also tied "Gunsmoke" for longevity of all drama series and the two series were tied for second place for longevity of all scripted U.S. series being beaten only by "The Simpsons".
