The Osbournes TV show was a 30 minute reality series on MTV about the real-life escapades of an aging rock star, his business manager wife and their teenaged son and daughter. Cameras follow them around the house, on tour, and around the world on pleasure and business trips. This is not your typical family!

The Osbournes Trivia
The title of the series in the United Kingdom was "The Curse of the Osbournes".
Kelly Osbourne landed a role on an ABC series titled, "Life as We Know It" but it, unfortunatley, only lasted eleven episodes.
Whether you like Sharon or not, you can't deny that she's one good businesswoman! For the first season of "The Osbornes", MTV was unsure about the show's potential so the entire family received only $20,000 per episode for 13 episodes. When the show turned into a hit, Sharon went into negotiator mode. In the second season, the family received $20 million for the season, plus MTV bought them a new home, and (the most "Osbourne" part of the contract) MTV also agreed to pay for their dog's psychotherapy. (No, that's not a joke!)
Ozzy and Sharon's oldest child (daughter) is named Aimee and chose not to appear on the TV show. If you want to see her, she does appear briefly just once during episode #20, "My Big Fat Jewish Wedding", during the wedding vow renewal.
The Osbournes won an Emmy in 2002 for "Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Reality)"! In 2003 the series got an Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Non-Fiction Program (Alternative)". Kelly Osbourne won Teen Choice awards in both years as did the show itself in 2002!
