Fisher Stevens .... Seamus O'Neill Key West Trivia
Key West nearly made it to a second season. Some scripts for season 2 were actually written and a few scenes were even taped.
At the young age of 13, Fisher Stevens (Seamus O'Neill) moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. It took 3 years, but at age 16 he got a major role in the 1981 film, "The Burning". Along with many other roles and his starring role on Key West, Fisher also starred on the series, "Early Edition".
Seamus O'Neill got rich by winning the lottery. That made for an great storyline. You know ... the average guy who's suddenly rich and dumps his old, boring life for a new, more exciting one! Then, in the second episode, Seamus got his lottery check for a lousy $32.59! He had many outstanding student loans and the lottery commission deducted them from his winnings! Many fans believe that if the writers had left him rich, Key West would have been a hit.
