Friday the 13th Trivia:

While they share the same title, there is no connection between the Friday the 13th movies and this television program. The writers did joke around sometimes about including a hockey mask as one of the items that Micki and Jack would retrieve in one of the episodes as a reference to the movies, that never happened.

There were a couple of minor connections between the movies and the TV series. John D. LeMay who played Ryan Dallion on the show also later appeared as Steven Freeman in the 1993 film, "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday". Also, actor John Shepherd guest-starred on the TV series' episode titled, "The Baron's Bride" which eerily is the 13th episode and he also had previously starred in the 1985 film, "Friday the 13th: A New Beginning".

Micki and Jack's Uncle's name was Lewis Vendredi. Vendredi is the French word for "Friday".
