Roswell Trivia

On Roswell the teens attend West Roswell High. In the Roswell books, however, they attend Ulysses F. Olsen High. Note that the initials of that high school are UFO.

Shiri Appleby started her career at the age of four appearing in several TV commercials. In high school, she was on her student council, helped produce the school yearbook, was on the cheerleading team and was voted, "Most Spirited" by her classmates. She auditioned several times for all three female parts on the Roswell TV show before getting the part as Liz.

Jason Behr has appeared in more than 75 TV commercials! In addition to his starring role on Roswell, he was also a regular on the Showtime series, "Sherman Oaks" and on the ABC series, "Push". He was voted, "The Most Destined For Fame" by his high school classmates.

When Katherine Heigl was nine years old, her aunt invented a hair care product and wanted to advertise it. She used Katherine's photo in her advertising and later sent the photos out to several modelling agencies. In less than a month, "Wilhelmina", the international modelling agency signed her to a contract. Several TV commercials and magazine modelling jobs got her noticed and she began getting acting job offers. She has appeared on many magazine covers such as TV Guide, Maxim, and Teen. She also auditioned for all three female parts on Roswell before getting the part as Isabel. She got the lead role in the 1994 film, "My Father the Hero", even though Alicia Silverstone also tried for the part. Her older brother Jason died when she was young after being thrown from the back of a pickup truck.

Brendan Fehr originally planned to become a teacher. In 1997 he stopped by a talent agency to see about making some extra money doing modelling. Just one week later he got offered a small guest part on the TV show, "Breaker High". His mother felt maybe he should put off his teaching plans and concentrate full-time on acting. Only a few days before he was to enter college, he decided she was right and took her advice. Brendan actually auditioned for the part of Max on Roswell and got the part of Michael instead. He is a member of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles.

Majandra Delfino moved to the United States at the age of 3 from Caracas, Venezuela. At 10 years of age, she performed in "The Nutcracker" with the Miami Ballet Group. At 11, she joined an all-girl singing group which performed "soul/Pop" music. One of the other group members was Samantha Gibb, the daughter of the Bee Gees' Maurice Gibb. Their group appeared as the opening act for the Bee Gees and they had some minor success thereafter. After dropping out of the group, Majandra decided to give acting a try. Her parents weren't overjoyed about it and told her she had 6 months to suceed or return to school. She only needed a couple of those months to get an agent and the acting offers to start coming in. The very next summer, she got her first TV series, landing the part of Tony Danza's daughter on, "The Tony Danza Show (1997). She was nicknamed Majandra because one of her siblings couldn't pronounce her real name, "Maria Alejandra".

Nick Wechsler auditioned for 4 different roles on the Roswell TV show and finally won the role as Kyle. He has seven brothers! Four are older than him and three are younger. He must simply love music as he has a CD collection of approximately 300 CDS!

Roswell Theme Song

Title: "Here With Me"

By: "Dido"

Oh I am what I am.
I'll do what I want but I can't hide
I won't go. I won't sleep. I can't breathe,
Until you're resting here with me.
I won't leave. I can't hide. I cannot be,
Until you're resting here with me.
