Series Description

Reba was a 30 minute comedy series on the WB (becoming the CW Network in its final season). It was about a wife and mother whose husband got one of his employees pregnant and her teenaged daughter is also "with child" by the captain of her high school football team. And those are only the two worst problems that poor Reba has on her plate! But don't despair! Reba is a survivor!

Unbelievably but true, Reba was canceled when it was the number one sitcom on its network! That's right folks! When the management of the new CW Network settled out of the fray, those who rose to the top (in their infinite wisdom) decided to end the series because it didn't fit into their new target demographic. You can figure out what demographic that was on your own by considering that they gave the time slot that Reba had in its final full season (the 5th) to "WWE Smackdown!" Keep in mind that not only was Reba the CW's #1 sitcom, but Reba was also tremendously popular with audiences of all ages! She hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards for the eighth time just as her series was getting the axe! There's no understanding the minds of network executives sometimes!

Reba only actually called Barbra Jean her best friend one time during the series run and that happened on the very last episode.

If you thought that you recognized Scarlett Pomers (Kyra Hart) but you couldn't think of where you had seen her, she played the role as "Naomi Wildman", the only child on the series "Star Trek Voyager". She appeared to grow up quite a bit between the two series although her appearances on the two shows were really only five months apart!
