The Movie Stars TV show was a 30 minute comedy series on the WB Network (now the CW Network). It was about a married couple who were famous Hollywood movie stars raising their kids in Malibu, California.

Movie Stars Trivia:
Reese Hardin was a highly successful action movie star and his wife Jacey Watts was an Oscar-nominated dramatic actress.Reese, Jacey and their kids lived next door to Tom Hanks. Tom isn't listed in the cast credits because while he was often referred to, he never actually appeared on Movie Stars.
Reese and Jacey's kids were named Apache and Moonglow. Todd Hardin was Reese's brother who was also an actor but not a huge star like his brother and sister-in-law. Lori Hardin was Reese's daughter from a prior marriage. Todd and Lori lived in the house with the other Hardins.
If Jennifer Grant had been a few years younger, she may have felt more comfortable in the role as Moonglow. You see, Jennifer's real-life parents were movie mega stars, Cary Grant and Dyan Cannon!
Todd often played poker with a bunch of buddies who were also actors with more successful acting brothers. His pals were the brothers of Sylvestor Stallone, Patrick Swayze and John Travolta.
While Jacey was nominated for several Oscars without a win. Apache was constantly trying to promote his parents careers with ridiculous schemes. During season two he tried desperately to help his mother win an Oscar.
Harry Hamlin was People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" in 1987. Harry is obviously attracted to beautiful actresses. He's been married to Lisa Rinna ("Melrose Place") since 1997. Lisa actually appeared on Movie Stars in the episode titled, "The Seduction of Reese Hardin". Harry was married to Nicollette Sheridan ("Desperate Housewives") from 1991-1993 ad to Laura Johnson ("Falcon Crest") from 1985-1989. Before that, Harry lived with Swedish actress Ursula Andress from 1978-1982. Andress was typically cast in movies alongside male sex symbols including Dean Martin, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra.
