Series Description:

The Medical Center TV show was a drama series about life and business at a university hospital in the Los Angeles area. The two main characters were Doctor Paul Lochner (James Daly) who was the hospital's chief of staff and Doctor Joe Gannon, a young associate professor of surgery. The university concept allowed for a wide range of script ideas due to the dual purposes of treating patients and teaching student Doctors.
