Series Description

The Marry Me TV show is a 30 minute romantic comedy series on NBC about Jake and Annie, a couple who have had a wonderful, committed relationship for six years. So Jake finally decides that it's time to pop the question and he invites friends and family to watch in hiding. He gets down on one knee, pulls out a beautiful ring and just then, Annie with her back turned to him starts giving him an angry lecture about how he should have proposed during their recent trip to Mexico! Before Jake can stop her, she gets really nasty and even calls his mother a bitch! Mom who was hiding behind Annie really appreciated that! Then Annie a few days later proposes to Jake at his workplace and gets him fired! Will true love win out or is the couple doomed to failure?
