Series Description

The Killing is a 60 minute crime drama series on AMC for the first three seasons and then on Netflix for the final six episodes. It was about the investigation into the killing of a teenage girl in Seattle, Washington.

The Killing Trivia

This series is based on a Danish television show titled, "Forbrydelsen" which literally translated means, "The Crime". There was a season of 20 episodes in 2007, a second season of 10 episodes in 2011 and a third series is currently in prodution as of June 2012. It won a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award in 2011, was nominated for a second and got another nomination in 2012. It also got to International Emmy nominations in 2007 and 2008.
