Series Description:

The Joan of Arcadia TV show was a 60 minute dramatic fantasy series on CBS about a High School girl who could talk to God. God approached her through many different human-form personalities such as teachers, fellow students, construction workers, etc. God gave Joan different tasks to perform each week. Usually, they were something that she had no desire to do and had no obvious purpose. In the end, however, her accomplishments of the task would result in helping another human being. The series also followed Joan's relationships with friends, family, and her boyfriend. Another interesting aspect of the show was that even Joan was sometimes confused as to whether she was really speaking with God or whether she might be insane.
