The Homeland TV show is a 60 minute drama series that premiered on October 2, 2011 on Showtime. It's about a Marine Sergeant named Scott Brody who returns home after eight years as a captive of terrorists in Iraq. On the surface it appears that he resisted considerable torture and remains a patriot to the good old USA! When CIA Agent Carrie Anderson presents her superiors with doubts about Brody's patriotism they forcefully resist her warnings. You see, America needs a hero and Brody fits the bill perfectly. But what if Agent Anderson is right? What if Brody has been turned terrorist by his captors? Might he not use his fame as a war hero to harm the U.S.?
