Series Description

The Geena Davis Show was a 30 minute comedy series on ABC about a single female party planner who meets the man of her dreams. Six dates later she's a married mother of two children and she finds it sometimes difficult to deal with the huge, sudden change in her life.

Peter Horton has a degree in Music Composition from the University of California. He composes music and is a classical pianist. He was married to Michelle Pfeiffer from 1981-1988.

The Geena Davis Show was only one of several series written for an already established stars. Others included "Bette" (Starring Bette Midler), "Normal, Ohio" (Roseanne and John Goodman) and the "Michael Richards Show". This "experiment" definitely proved that big name stars don't necessarily translate to success on a TV series of their own.

This was not Geena Davis' first starring role in a television series. She had her own series for a very few episodes in 1985 named, "Sara".

Geena Davis was nominated for a People's Choice Award for her role on the show and the show was also nominated for "Best New TV comedy series". She was paid $200,000 per episode for the series.

Geena Davis always wanted to be an actress. She majored in Drama at Boston University where she graduated in 1979. She moved to New York and worked as a sales clerk and waitress until securing a job as a model for Victoria Secrets Catalog. Sydney Pollack saw her in the catalog and cast her in his upcoming film, "Tootsie (1982)".

Geena Davis is a member of "MENSA", a group that admits only those that test at genious IQ as members! Her IQ tested at 140! She speaks Swedish and attended school in Sweden. She was an assistant organist at her church in her hometown. She is 6 feet tall. Measurements: 34-25-35. At the time this was written, she was married to an Iranian Neurosurgeon named, "Dr. Reza Jarrahy" whose last name means "Surgery" in Persian!

Mimi Rogers graduated from High School at 14 years of age! She is a member of the Church of Scientology and appeared in Playboy magazine in 1993. She was married to Tom Cruise from 1987-1990.

Kim Coles once entered a beauty pagent and for the talent competition, she did a comedy routine making fun of beauty pagents! Needless to say, she didn't win.
