Series Description:
The Equalizer TV show was a 60 minute action series on CBS about a private detective and former spy who takes on cases for people who haven't gotten satisfaction from the police. He runs an ad in the newspaper, "Got a problem, need help, odds against you, call The Equalizer".

The Equalizer TV Show Trivia:
Robert Mitchum filled in for Edward Woodward for a while to keep The Equalizer TV show on the air when Woodward suffered a heart attack. Mitchum played an old friend of Robert McCall and helped Scott McCall (Robert's son) search for his father who was "missing".
