Series Description

Beastmaster was a 60 minute fantasy series that aired in syndication. It was about a wandering adventurer who can communicate with and control animals.

Beastmaster Opening Narrative

(First and second seasons:)

"In an age when nature and magic rule the world, there is an extraordinary legend: the story of a warrior who communicates with animals, who fights sorcery and the unnatural. His name is Dar, last of his tribe. He is also called Beastmaster."

(Third season:)

"After a time of light, the world resets its dial to a darker age. It's the time of the coming of Balcifer, the Lord of Darkness. Evil spreads throughout the land, but walking among the people is a savior, a champion to battle the darkness. He also searches for the truth to his identity, the past he never knew he had. His name is Dar, the BeastMaster. Joined by his spirit warrior Dartanus, his best friend Tao, and sometimes by the tracker Arina, Dar sets out to fulfill his destiny."
