Andromeda Series Trivia

Kevin Sorbo was called a "Greek God" in the Andromeda pilot. That referred to his role as Hercules on the series, "Hercules: The Legendary Journey". The only actor who appeared in every episode of Andromeda was Kevin Sorbo.

On Andromeda, Lexa Doig played the part of a robot and Lisa Ryder played a human. Previously in the theatrical film, "Jason X", Lexa played a human and Lisa played the robot!

Dylan Hunt told us what his serial number was in episode #15, "Forced Perspective". It was "H.E. 5095C21922".

When Brandy Ledford first auditioned, she tried out for the role of Andromeda Ascendant, it went to Lexa Doig. Then, during season five, Lexa went on maternity leave and they brought Brandy in to play Doyle who would take over Rommie's responsibilities.

Gene Roddenberry was the creator of Andromeda because the idea for the series came from notes he wrote more than two decades earlier in 1976. Gene actually passed away nine years before Andromeda began being broadcast. As most sci-fi fans know, in addition to Andromeda, Gene was the creator of "Earth: Final Conflict", "The Original Star Trek", and therefore its offspring, "The Next Generation", "Deep Space Nine", "Voyager", and "Enterprise".
