I was wondering. do you think it's possible to be a great actress & a singer
at the same time. And which female actress/singer do you think has the best
acting AND singing talent?
I started thinking about this after I found out that Jennifer Landon
(daughter of Michael Landon of 'Highway to Heaven', 'Little House on the
Prairie', & 'Bonanza' fame) who followed her dad's acting career and really
did well in the daytime soap AWS (As the World Turns) went on to launch a
singing career. I believe she only has 1 song out right now, called Slide,
but it's really good. You can check it on iTunes if you like.
Any thoughts?" |

Whitney Houston comes to mind. She's had some bad years lately but I heard that she's getting herself back together and the general opinion seems to be that she will be back on top again soon.
Back in the days of the theatrical musicals there would have been many choices like Doris Day and Judy Garland.
Although I don't believe I've ever personally heard her, I have heard others say that Meryl Streep has a really good voice too (on Broadway, I guess).
Nicole Kidman gave a stellar singing and acting performance in Moulin Rouge and Catherine Zeta-Jones was amazing in Chicago.
Anybody else with a favorite? |

A perfect example of how bad general opinion sucks 
After her concert on February 22nd in Australia, a reporter asked a fan if Whitney could still hold a note forever like she used to and the fan replied, "She can't maintain a dead rat"
I guess when you spend years doing cocaine and heroin, it tends to mess with your vocal cords  |

| I like Lindsay Lohan. She is the best actress and also pop singer. She is gorgeous. I love her role in movie "Freaky Friday". She is really very talented. |
