Actually, I remember recording the sound off that show with my new portable reel-to-reel tape recorder, thinking that it was really cool ... being able to listen to it over and over again anytime I wanted to! Hey, portable reel-to-reel tape recorders were top of the line personal electronics technology!!!

And you younger folk who think that reel-to-reel tape recorders are from the stone age ... just wait 30 or 40 years. Your grandchildren will think exactly the same thing about a Pentium 4 laptop and you'll remember it fondly!

I'm only 16 and I've already seen computers change quite a bit in my lifetime. I remember my dad with a computer that didn't use windows when I was a little girl. He had to know exactly what to type in to make it do anything. You couldn't just copy and paste something by clicking on "copy" and the "paste" for example. You had to type in something like "copy 'filename' from 'folder' to 'folder' or something like that just to move a file on your hard drive!






FALSE - I remember going toboganning once when I was very little and I'm sure we went to the top of a mountain to start our runs. It was in Colorado someplace.

Oh yes! She was 15 years older than I but she sure didn't seem like it at the time! Mary Tyler Moore was just as cute as she could be on the "Dick Van Dyke Show". I barely turned 15 at the series' end, but I can remember "spooning" over Mary a lot!
