Why do you make people register just to vote in a lousy poll?

That stinks! That's why nobody is voting!

Ok. Let me be clearer than what I said in the first post.

Voting in polls is one of the many features you get when you're registered. See the following thread for more details:

If we allowed guests to vote, anyone could skew the results by simply leaving the forum, coming back in, and voting again. When you've signed in under your registered username, the forum software knows that you've had your vote and won't allow duplicate votes.

I can't recall ever seeing a forum that allows guest voting in polls for that reason. Most forums don't even allow you to post a message unless you're registered. So far, we have allowed that.

And finally, one reason few people have voted on which comedy series from the 2006/2007 season they like best is that many of them (the new series) haven't aired their first episode yet. We simply set-up the poll now as the season is about to begin.
