30 years ago today on March 26, 1982:

"Password Plus" was cancelled by NBC after 801 episodes.

"Search for Tomorrow" aired for the final time on CBS but NBC immediately picked it up and begin airing it on March 29.

Debbie Reynold celebrates her 80th birthday today, April 1, 2012! While Debbie is best known for her singing and movies, she also starred in her own TV show, "The Debbie Reynolds Show" during the 1969-1970 season.

The last episode of the The Big Show radio program was broadcast 60 years ago today on April 20, 1952! It featured musical and comedy acts by famous performers and led to the variety TV shows that were so popular in the mid 1950s through the early 1970s.
