Could Larry David bring peace to the Middle East? Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz apparently thinks there's a chance. In a recent interview with the Columbia Current he said that he sent a copy of the eighth season episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" titled, "Palestinian Chicken" to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He further suggested that Netanyahu watch it with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. He said, "Maybe if they both get a good laugh, they can begin a negotiating process."
In that episode, Larry and Jeff find that they love the chicken at a Palestinian restaurant but when the owners decide to open a second restaurant right next door to a Jewish Deli their Jewish friends organize a protest. Jeff and Larry then have to decide which the put first; their stomachs or their heritage. |
