NBC premieres their new game show "Who's Still Standing" tonight with host Ben Bailey who you may know from "Cash Cab".
The show is kind of like "Wheel of Fortune" meets "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". One contestant who has a chance to win one million dollars must answer trivia questions while getting clues from a series of blocks that show the number of letters in the answer with some of the letters filled in. A challenger competes against them for a possible $10,000 prize until either the contestant or the challenger misses a question and then they are exited from the game by being dropped through a trap door into oblivion.
The show is based on an Israeli game show that airs under the shortened title, "Still Standing".
Unfortunately, the show is premiering opposite the two hour season finale of "Terra Nova" on Fox! |
