This was a favorite of mine as a kid in 1963, and I had to start a thread about it. The general theme was to take some famous, or not so famous, occurences from history and act them out. It was sort of a precurser to a mini-miniseries. I remember Lee Marvin as a grape grower, battling the railroads who jacked up their shipping rates when his grapes were ready for market before anyone elses, and he stood to get a top price. Another was the story of the Hunley, a Civil War Union submarine.
Anyone else remember it? Here's the theme song
Dump duh duh dummm, dum dum DUMP dum; DUMP dum DUMP dum DUMP duh duh dump dum dum... dum DUMP!
Hey, it WAS an instrumental! |
