Dave Foley, star of the NewsRadio TV Series made an appearance on comedian Marc Maron's podcast, "WTF" on February 3, 2011 and said that he didn't have enough money to make child support payments of $10,700 per month and another $5,000 per month for back child support to his ex-wife, "Tabatha Southey" for their 15 and 18-year old sons.

It's apparently so bad that if he returns to his home country of Canada, he'll be arrested! An Ontario judge ruled that he would serve 10 days in jail for every payment he misses.

Foley claims that his income is down drastically from when the child support judgement was decided and he just doesn't have the money. He has worked every year since NewsRadio ended in TV and movies but mostly just doing voice work and guest-starring on TV episodes.

It is looking better for Dave though. He had only four credited roles in 2009 but was up to ten in 2010. As of this date (March 9, 2011), Foley has already wrapped up five jobs including six episodes of "Dan Vs." plus a guest-starring role on "Desperate Housewives" as a guy who couldn't get a date even after offering one of his kidneys in return. Dave also has 5 more movie roles already in the works so maybe things are looking up for him. We certainly hope so!
