That's definitely The Wizard. Mid 1980's CBS series. I remember it a little bit. David Rappaport (of Time Bandits, as you note) was the star, and Douglas Barr from The Fall Guy co-starred as his "sidekick"/bodyguard. It was an adventure series, but very light in tone. I think I watched three or four episodes and moved on. Didn't last long. |
