does anyone remember a sci-fi miliatary type show that aired for a short while in 1977 on Friday nights. It had a robot in it as one of the characters.
That's all I remember. It wasn't Buck Rodgers, it had more of a military feel.
Anyone have any thoughts as to what this show was called |

The only two series on Friday night network television in 1977 in the U.S. that might be considered sci-fi were Wonder Woman and Logan's Run.
The series you're thinking of may have been a mini-series, series on a cable channel, a mid-season replacement that only lasted a few episodes, or a series that aired outside the U.S.
More information would be useful. Real name of a cast member, a character's name, country of origin, channel it aired on, what show it came on before or after, etc. Pretty much anything else you can think of. |

It wasn't either of those shows. It featured a military base and members of a military squad with a talking robot-android who looked something like C3PO. Now that I think back, it would have been aired in 1978 not 1977.
I don't know if this helps or not, I was only 6 years old at the time this show was on.

Nothing fits your description in 1978 either. Was possible a short-run, mid-season replacement.
Sorry! |

It was a TV show that lasted about 12 or 14 1 hour shows. it was Military Bases with young Adults as the pilots. There leader was a tall blondish brown haired man. They all had blue jump suits and the boss always wore a white scarf. The last episode I believe that the boss dies in a dog fight along with most of the crew it was either late 70's early 80's |

| Could it be Space 1999? Probably on a little earlier in the 70's. IIRC this was military in nature, about a base on the Earth's moon, which had somehow become "lost in space." Don't remember a robot, though. Just a thought. |
