Looking for the name of an old tv show about a rich texas rancher that went around helping people. He had a steer horn on the front of his big car.

The name of the series was simply "Buck James". There were 19 episodes aired in the 1987 season and then it was cancelled.

Buck James was the head of a hospital emergency room and he also loved his ranch with a passion.

Buck James was played by Dennis Weaver who, unfortunately, passed away just a few months ago on February 26th from cancer.

Dennis Weaver's other TV roles included Sam McCloud on the series "McCloud", and Chester who was Matt Dillon's deputy with a limp on the series "Gunsmoke".
