We delete overtly offensive posts and posts with a purely commercial purpose several times per day (most days). We also delete the users' accounts who list porn, drug, ringtone, etc. sites on their profiles. Repeat offenders are reported to their ISP and authorities (if applicable).

That does, however, mean that those offensive posts may be on this board for a few hours (or very occasionally longer) before they're deleted.

This forum is a great diversion and a pleasant change from political forums. The main site lists some show that even an Old Guy may have forgotten.

Yeh man! They've got a lot of shows from the 1950s. I didn't realize that the even had television that far back!

In fact, the first regularly broadcast programs started in 1946 on NBC and the Dumont Network.

The programs were very limited and concentrated in the New York City metropolitan area.

ABC and CBS began airing shows in 1948 when those lucky enough to be in a broadcast area and able to afford a television could find a selection of 4 programs in all the primetime hours (except Saturdays).

I noticed two errors in the Six Million Dollar Man posting.

1. The Series Description mistakenly claims that Steve Austin's bionic eye had 'x-ray' ability. It did not; but it did have a telephoto lens with a 20:1 zoom.

2. In the Trivia, there is a reference to the Bionic Boy, but the listing mistakenly claims he had bionic legs. Actually the bionic boy (Vince Van Patten) received implants that made his legs super strong.

Thanks Much! We actually love it when someone finds mistakes. We know that our sources are sometimes wrong even when we've gotten double and triple verification and, sometimes, we just plain goof up! In any case, we like it because we know there are two less errors on the site now!

not cane....the word is fame, as in from the word
famous.....make this change and you will be perfect.

I know that you have something "in print" that says "fame" and I believe you. I can not, however, find any second source for that word. In addition to finding many sources for the word "cane", that also is the word I hear when listening to the actual theme song from the show (which is undoubtably correct).

It is possible that in another season, the word changed to "fame" but I have no verifiable source for that. It's also possible that the printer who produced your item made an error.

In any case, so far the evidence is overwhelming for "cane" being the correct word.

I really like your site. I noticed a discrepancy on the listing for the show Amen. In season 4 the episode called "thelma fyre dough girl" is listed twice (as episode 66 & 78. Any reason why?

Apparently, that episode was a rerun later in the season after being originally broadcast as the season premiere. Normally, we don't list repeats but once in a while one gets through.
