| I think it might have been called something like Doc Tarrie. It was about a tame crosseyed lion , park rangers and a veterinary hospital in a wildlife park in Africa. |

The series you're referring to was called "Daktari". It ran for 4 seasons, beginning in 1966, and aired 89 episodes.
I remember watching that show as a teenager. I can't believe I missed that one when initially setting up the site.
Anyway, I already had about half of the work done on that show so I just went ahead and finished it.
