Who is the nurse, the first person running toward the Helipad hill, in the opening scenes of M*A*S*H*, as the helicopters are approaching?
It's NOT nurse Major Margaret "Hotlips" Houlihan/Loretta Swit. |

I saw Wayne Rogers on FOX news channel the other day. Apparently, he's become like a leading expert in the stock market!!! Did anyone else realize that?
I kid you not. The guy is also turning into George Bush Sr.! Just look at his photo on Fox's show, "The O'Reilly Factor"!

The title of the song is "There's a Long, Long Trail A-Winding".
It was written in 1915; lyrics by "Stoddard King" and music by "Alonzo 'Zo' Elliott".
It was heard on the second episode of the fourth season of M*A*S*H* titled, "Change of Command".
The chorus goes as follows:
There's a long, long trail a-winding
Into the land of my dreams,
Where the nightingales are singing
And a white moon beams:
There's a long, long night of waiting
Until my dreams all come true;
Till the day when I'll be going down
That long, long trail with you.
There are people selling CDs online. To find them just type in the song title in quotes and cd. Or you could just buy the season four M*A*S*H* Dvd set and get it that way. Always check your public library too. They often have TV show Dvds to check out for free!
Good luck! |
