Those who plan to spend New Year's Eve 2011 might want to catch Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest on ABC from 8PM Eastern to 2AM with a just a 30 minute break for news at 11PM! Clark began the show 40 years ago so that young people would have something to bring in the new year that was more to their liking than what had been offered year after year before that ... Guy Lombardo and his band.
Clark is a bit less lively now due to a stroke but he still loves contemporary music and plans to make an appearance on the show. Viewers won't be disappointed in the long list of performers on the show. They will include musical performances by Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Hot Chelle Rae, Florence + The Machine, Gym Class Heroes, Nicki Minaj and Taio Cruz! |
