There was a show about a little boy and a huge, friendly bear on in the mid to upper 1960s. Some evil person was always trying to kill the bear, I think. The little boy befriended the bear and I think his dad was a Park Ranger or something.
The title is right on the tip of my tongue but I just can't quite get it. I know it was a very popular show.
Anyone? |

I'm quite confident that you're asking about the "Gentle Ben TV Show".
It starred Clint Howard as Mark Wedloe and Bruno the bear as Gentle Ben.
Clint Howard is Director and former fellow child star Ron Howard's brother. |

I know I saw that show once or twice. Or maybe there was also a movie? It was a great series for the whole family!
The only thing I didn't like was the evil guy who kept trying to kill or capture (I can't remember which) the Bear. I guess every drama series needs its villain though. |
