I used your search engine to find a show as well as looking in the places it would hide, bad news is I was looking for the show Search with Hugh O'brian and it kept popping me back to the search engine so I thought I'd let you know you missed it. And don't feel bad about missing it because almost everyone I mention it to say's I'm nuts because it never was, ok I'll buy I'm a bit nuts but the show did exist, would appreciate if you can find it and put it up but won't be heartbroken if you can't find reference to it.

| 1950 tv Kate Smith Mon Aug 24, 2009 5:25 pm |

In 1950 Kate entered television with a Monday-Friday afternoon variety show, The Kate Smith Hour (1950-54). It proved so popular that NBC gave her a prime-time show on Wednesday evenings, The Kate Smith Evening Hour. Her last TV series was CBS's The Kate Smith Show, a weekly half-hour musical series in 1960.
I think Durwood Kirby was her announcer |
